As a communications specialist and public information officer for the Utah Department of Human Services, Kate enabled communication between 13 government agencies, news media outlets, and the public. She coordinated and managed public education campaigns, government records requests, internal communications, and stakeholder relations during the pandemic. She also facilitated and oversaw agency brand development during agency consolidation with the Utah Department of Health.
