UTAH STATE PARKS

As a strategic planner and senior editor for Utah State Parks, Kate Set clear strategic priorities to communicate and implement the agency’s mission, vision, and values and developed new processes, programs, and assessment strategies for measuring success. She provided brand and content management and editorial services to the Division, as well as administrative support to the agency’s high-level managers and executives. Collaborated with scientists, historians, museum curators, park managers and staff, state and federal government agencies, tribes, community partners, nonprofit institutions, and contractors to develop interpretive exhibits and programs. 

Kate created numerous deliverables for Utah State Parks, including interpretive exhibits for museums, park signage, wayside installations on historical and environmental subjects, and award-winning accessible interpretive exhibits for audiences with disabilities. She designed park brochures, event flyers and signage, and other public relations materials. She also contributed interpretive components for conservation and sustainability efforts.
